What we check
Open Graph tags: og:title, og:description, og:image, og:url, and og:type, plus duplicates and tags written with the wrong attribute.
Open Graph image: whether the URL resolves, is absolute, loads, meets minimum size, matches the 1.91:1 ratio, stays under a weight limit, and has alt text.
Twitter card: the card type, title, and image, the image size for large cards, and tags written with the wrong attribute.
Previews
The report renders social card previews from the tags found in your raw HTML. The free check reads the raw HTML the server returns, which is what social scrapers see. It does not run JavaScript.

Which tags does the Open Graph checker look at?
og:title, og:description, og:image, og:url, og:type, and the Twitter card tags. Missing og:title or og:image is reported as an error.
Why does my card look different on some platforms?
Each platform renders cards its own way. Our previews are built from your tags, so treat them as a check on the tags, not a screenshot of any one platform.
Does it check the image itself?
Yes. It checks that the image URL is absolute and loads, then its dimensions, aspect ratio, file weight, and whether alt text is set.
Is it free?
Yes. The single-URL check needs no signup and no email.
